Historical and Collectible Significance:
The Cruz Peruana al Mérito Naval is a military honor awarded by the Peruvian Navy for distinguished service and contributions. This Officer-class set, issued in 1952, includes a personalized case (Teodoro Nava) and is a scarce Cold War-era decoration produced by the official Peruvian Mint (Casa de Moneda). Sets in original condition with named boxes are uncommon and sought after by collectors of South American military awards.
Complete and original set of the Peruvian Naval Merit Cross, Officer Class, dated 1952. Includes full-size medal, miniature, and original named case. A rare piece of Peruvian naval history.
