Medal Design:
Front (Avers):
Features a gold-colored central medallion with the Coat of Arms of Peru, surrounded by a red and white enamel ring inscribed with:
"EL SOL DEL PERÚ" at the top and "1821" at the bottom.
Radiating golden rays form a starburst pattern around the center.
The medal is suspended from a green enamel laurel wreath with a red bow, attached to a red ribbon.
Back (Revers):
Plain, with a smooth golden surface and no inscriptions or markings.
