Summary

This scarce WWII Infantry and Motorised Cavalry Officer Cadet School Badge was made by John Dunbar of Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland and issued to graduates and instructors of Polish Army officer training schools in exile.

The badge features a two-piece construction: the crowned Polish eagle in silver finish, holding the intertwined “S” and “P” monogram (Szkoła Podchorążych – Officer Cadet School), set against a laurel wreath with the inscription SZKO CJA at the top. It retains its original green cloth backing and has been fitted with a replacement screw-back spinner.

The badge shows patina and wear consistent with genuine wartime use, adding to its authenticity and character.

A highly collectible piece for militaria enthusiasts, especially those focusing on Polish WWII insignia and items from the Polish Armed Forces in the West.
