Medal Design:
Multi-piece construction with silvered starburst, central shield with red enamel star, crossed swords, and torch design. Reverse with original functional pin and hinge.
Condition:
The order shows wear consistent with age, some patina, small enamel losses visible in photos.
Case has noticeable stains and wear; clasp is functional.
Historical and Collectible Significance:
The Order of Military Merit (III Class) was awarded by the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia for achievements in military service, training, and defense contributions. This is a desirable early example, complete with its original fitted case—highly collectible.
